IN THE GARDEN
Framed by the wall, the raised
beds showcase Jeanette’s garden
plantings, offering delightful vistas
from the curb as well as from inside
the home. “We wanted to see color
from every angle,” says Jeanette.
One of their favorite views is from
the home’s wraparound porch,
where they often relax on summer
afternoons. Many passersby call out
compliments on their way to and
from the nearby train station.
Jeanette values the garden for
more than good looks. “It’s my
cutting garden,” she says. “I have
fresh flowers all the time. Whenever
I go to anybody’s house, I bring them
fresh flowers.” Info
